Are you looking for ways to show your support for veterans? Join J-TEK Marine in supporting the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund this September at the Treasure Coast Bonita Blast for wounded vets. This annual fishing event is being held September 19, 2020 from 7 am to 3 pm at Pirate's Cove Resort & Marina in Stuart, Florida. Proceeds from this event go to helping military service members make the often-difficult transition back to civilian life after their tour of duty.

Have Fun, Catch Fish & Support Your Local Vets

The Treasure Coast Bonita Blast is the largest one-day fishing tournament in the region. Held by the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, which was founded in 2009 to help Florida’s disabled veterans transition to civilian life, the organization has earned GuideStar Platinum level recognition for fundraising transparency and support of Florida vets. Over 85% of funds raised at this annual event go directly to veteran assistance.

Give Back to Those Who Gave So Much

Many veterans experience not only physical challenges but unseen emotional injuries from their time abroad. In their struggles to navigate their return to the civilian workforce, they often experience financial difficulties as they transition back to "normal" life after fighting for our freedoms. The Wounded Veterans Relief Fund assists many vets suffering these circumstances in the local community, raising over $300,000 last year. These funds help returning service members to get job training, housing, transportation, secure childcare, pay past-due bills, and provide many other services.

September is the perfect time of the year to catch fish, and the Bonita Blast is a wonderful way to support military service members, so don't miss out.
